How To Flash Tecno R6S Stock Firmware Using Unlocktool.
We are now going to see how to flash the stock firmware file on our Tecno RA6S phone using our computer with Unlocktool. Let us see what things we need to have in order to carry out this work
Requirements
- Windows Computer.
- Tecno RA6S Flash file. (Build number for this file is RA6S-H394E-Go-KESF-180720V53)
- Unlocktool
- USB Data cable
Steps On How To Flash Tecno RA6S Flash File With Unlocktool.
Step 1
Download Unlocktool from this link here. This software has got regular updates so if you had previously used it, then chances are that they have already made an update and therefore you need to download the Unlocktool latest version from their site with the link I have provided. This software is for licensed users only. So if you don’t have a license, then it means you will need to rent it from someone who has bought a license with Unlocktool. Step 2
Now, you need to have the file you are going to flash. Unfortunately, I have not uploaded this file because it is kind of big but I have it on my hard disk incase you need it, you can conduct me. Ofcourse I am a guy who is quite reachable anytime you want so I will be able to help you. This file is a Tecno RA6S dump file that I dumped from Unlocktool which is why you can only use Unlocktool. (Build number for this file is RA6S-H394E-Go-KESF-180720V53)
Step 3
After you have launched Unlocktool, then click on the “MEDIATEK” tab from the several mobile brand tabs on the Unlocktool interface. This is because our Tecno R6AS smartphone is an MTK smartphone. Now under that, click on the “Super map” tab on the small yellow folder. This will open the windows file manager. Navigate to the folder with the firmware you extracted in step 2 above. Load the scatter file and Unlocktool will show the file partitions loaded from the scatter file.
Step 4
Up to this point, you only need to start flashing this file on your phone. To flash, click on the “Flash” option just a little bit bellow on Unlocktool. The button with a yellow arrow pointing down. Now, wait until you see “waiting for device” and then connect your phone to the computer using your USB data cable. To connect your phone, power it off or remove the battery and place it back. Hold both power up and power down buttons. Then connect your phone to the computer. As soon as it is connected, release the power buttons. Flashing will beggin. Let flashing complete until the progress is at 100%.
Step 5
After you see flashing has been completed at 100%, disconnect your phone from the computer. I hope before flashing your phone had enough power. Before flashing your phone, make sure it has enough power of at least 50% charge. Now, power up your phone, it should power up successfully. It might take time to finish loading up the new system. After it is done, set it up and start using your Tecno R6AS smartphone without any issues. If it boots up but still hangs on logo if that was the case before flashing, then that is an EMMC problem.

Conclusion
I have not uploaded the stock firmware file because since it is a dump file, it is abit heavy. So I kind of got lazy to upload it. But if you want it then you can contact it personally and we can see how you can have it. Secondly, there are the firmware files for tecno R6S on the internet but most of them wont work and are from the vodafone carrier. Yes your phone will flash and work fine but your SIM card wont have network if it is not from vodafone. Therefore my file is an original stock firmware file which is not bound to any network locked providers. Last but not least, I have not provide screenshots for other steps because I had only taken the last one as provided in step 5. Lastly, this is an Unlocktool dump file.
