How to remove Privacy protection lock on Tecno Y5S Smartphone Using NCK MTK Tool
In this article, I am going to take you through simple steps on how to remove Privacy protection lock on Tecno Y5S Smartphone. Miracle box is a good tool. But NCK, according to me, is reliable when it comes to removing Privacy on MTK smartphones. In our article today, we are going to learn How to remove Privacy Protection on Tecno Y5S using the NCK MTK tool. If you don’t have the NCK tool, then you can try the Miracle box too. Procedure to remove Privacy Protection on Tecno Y5S with NCK MTK tool
Now, to be able to carry out this procedure on how to remove privacy protection on Tecno Y5S Smartphone, you need to have the following things:
- Windows computer
- NCK MTK tool
- USB Data cable
- Mobile phone flashing skills.
Backup
Now, as I mentioned earlier, this phone is delicate. And you really need to be careful with it because it is easy to brick. So before you do anything, kindly make a firmware back up in case you soft brick it, you can restore it. You can still use NCK and read Phone firmware or alternatively, you can do the same with Miracle Box.

Choosing the Boot type on the NCK MTK tool
Launch NCK MTK tool. You should also put into consideration the phone’s EMMC type. For our case, Tecno Y5S is MTK 6572 EMMC. Now on NCK MTK tool dashboard just under ”PHONE SETTING” select 6572 EMMC on the list of CPUs. As shown below.
Resetting Privacy protection
After choosing the correct boot as shown above, now click on the “SERVICE” button. Under services, choose “Reset Privacy” at the far left side.
Click on the “Reset Privacy” button. After that, the NCK MTK tool will wait to connect to your phone. Remove the battery from your phone and place it back. Connect the phone to the computer. Your phone will connect with NCK and privacy protection will start getting removed just immediately. Hold your phone still or place it at a flat place where it can’t be interfered with. Wait until the process is completed.
Privacy removal done
After privacy protection is removed by NCK, disconnect the phone from the computer, place the battery back and power it on. Wait until it completes the initial boots because it is flashed and it has to load the system. This may take a while but it shouldn’t be more than 30 minutes. If it takes longer, it means it is stuck on boot mode. The solution is to try and hard reset it. If after removing privacy the phone doesn’t boot up, connect it to the charger and if it gets enough charge, boot it up now. If it is bricked, then flash it with the firmware you backed up.
Conclusion
