Before we proceed, let us look at some of the items we shall be required to have.
Requirements.
- Windows computer
- Unlocktool software
- A pair of tweezers (For TP connection)
- USB Data cable
- Internet connection
Now, having made sure you have met the above requirements; let us now look at the procedure on how to reset security lock on Nokia C01 PLUS TA 1383 Smartphone and also to reset FRP.
Nokia C01 PLUS Security unlock Using Test Points with Unlocktool
Step 1
Now, the first step is to find the tool to use for this task. In our case, we are going to use Unlocktool. You can download Unlocktool from this link. Run the application software you downloaded. Kindly note that, you need to have the Unlocktool license. You can get your license from any reseller as given from the Unlocktool website. Alternatively, you can rent from a licensed owner. Step2
Now, on Unlocktool software dashboard, click on the “NOKIA” tab. Under nokia, you will see a long list of Nokia models.
Scroll to find nokia C01 Plus. Or rather, you can just search for NOKIA C01 PLUS. Then you will find the nokia C01 Plus model.
Step 3
Now, click on the NOKIA C01 PLUS. You will see only two functions on the side. “ERASE FRP” and “FACTORY RESET” which are the core functions we want to use. Now, click on the factory reset option. Power off your device. Remove the back cover carefully. Connect the test points as shown in the picture below using a pair of tweezers. Connect the phone to the PC using USB data cable.
Step 4
As soon as you hear the connection sound on the PC after connecting your phone to pc using test points, Unlocktool will detect your phone and start the process of resetting it. Kindly be patient enough to wait until it is done. It takes about a minute or even less. That shouldn’t be long for you to wait. After it is done, your phone will automatically reboot. Step 5
After your phone has completed its reboot after factory reset, try to go over the initial set up process. If you find out it is FRP locked, power it off, repeat the procedure in step 3 above but this time round, and use the “ERASE FRP” option instead of “FACTORY RESET” to wipe the FRP partition.
When done, complete the set up process to use your phone again.
