How To Reset FRP On Samsung A02 KNOX through MTP/ADB.

Now, back to the article, we are going to look at how to reset FRP on Samsung A02 KNOX through MTP/ADB. Bypassing FRP on Samsung smartphones is not a simple task that you can manually undertake. You will need a computer to make it easier for you. For this reason, a PC or a laptop is a key requirement. Having said that, let us look at the procedure on how to reset FRP on Samsung A02 KNOX through MTP/ADB.

Method On How To Reset FRP on Samsung A02 KNOX through MTP/ADB

Your phone can connect to the PC in two ways. MTP, which is the common way where you simply connect your phone to the PC via USB data cable, and secondly, through ADB (Android Debug Bridge) where you have to enable ADB through the developers’ options in the settings. Now, the method we want to use to reset FRP on Samsung A02 is through the ADB method. I know what is ringing in your mind. How to enable ADB on Samsung A02 through MTP since the phone has FRP lock and you can’t get through the settings to enable it. Worry not. Requirements:

  1. Windows PC
  2. MTP Bypass Tool
  3. USB Data cable

Procedure on How to ADB through MTP and reset FRP On Samsung A02

Now, we have established that for this method to work, we should have the listed requirements. After making sure that we have them, let us now proceed with the step-by-step method on how to reset FRP on Samsung A02 KNOX through MTP/ADB.

Step 1

First and foremost, you need to have a windows computer. Personally, I use windows 10. I would prefer that you have a computer running on Windows 10 or higher. I am not sure whether it will work fine on windows 7 or not since I have never done this on windows 7. But if you are on Windows 7 you can give it a try. This procedure is strictly computer-based so, if you don’t have a computer, you can borrow one.

Step 2

Secondly, open your PC, Download TFT MTP Bypass Tool. You can download it from the link provided in this article. After downloading the tool, carefully extract the zip file and install it on your PC. The zip extraction password is usually given. So it should just be a simple task. Launch the TFT MTP Bypass tool on your PC.

Step 3

Now, until this point, you can smile because you are just in the right direction to fix this phone. Now connect your phone to the PC via a USB Data cable. Your phone should be switched on and on the “WELCOME” screen. Make sure your phone is properly connected and it is shown on the PC as “Samsung A02”. On the TFT MTP Bypass tool interface, click on [COM]Remove FRP 1Click Auto Enable ADB” option. That is the second option as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 4

After clicking on the option shown above in step 3, with your phone already connected to the PC, your phone will be detected in MTP mode and a pop-up will show on the TFT prompting you to enter a certain code on your phone under emergency call. Don’t disconnect your phone. Go to the “Emergency Call” and dial *#0*# to open the test mode.Samsung KNOX TEST MODE

After that, TFM will detect your phone in test mode and the ADB authorization pops up will show up. Accept it. SAMSUNG A02 ADB AUTHORIZATIONTFM will proceed and Reset FRP as shown below.

Step 5

Now, disconnect your Samsung phone from the PC and restart it. You will notice that after it is powered up, it shows the screen blinking rapidly and you cannot carry on any operation. Don’t worry about that. It is simple. Just power the phone off, connect it to the power source and do a hard reset. After hard resetting, connect it to the internet and finish setting it up. That is the simplest method how to reset FRP on Samsung A02 KNOX through MTP/ADB.
