Recover Deleted Whatsapp messages
By default, WhatsApp stores all the conversation in SD card assuming you had one. For you to Recover Deleted Whatsapp messages, follow the following steps.
- From the file manager in your phone, navigate to SD Card >> WhatsApp >> Database.
- In this directory, you will you will find a file named msgstore.db.crypt. This file contains all the message you have sent/received today.
- In the same file directory, you will find files in the same format named msgstore-yyyy..dd..db.crypt which contains all WhatsApp messages sent or received within the last seven days.
- To access the messages, Simply open the desired file with any of the android simple text editors with which you can you can read or view all your messages.
That is basically it. Free yourself from the hustle. As a precautionary measure, just to avoid situations such as this one, always remember to back up your WhatsApp messages and media.
