How to Flash a Stock ROM/Firmware File on Fero A5005

Hello to you all Technology sage readers. Welcome again to our blog. We are going to look at How to Flash a Stock ROM/Firmware file on Fero A5005 smartphone. First, If you are having this phone, you will agree with me that Fero A5005 is quite a nice phone. It doesn’t really harbour much as far as smartphone technological advancements and features are concerned, but it just comes with features that can help you use this phone to your satisfaction. As I have mentioned above, this phone just has enough good features for any Android smartphone user could use. In fact, it is just a great phone to have to someone who doesn’t really want to go into much about complicated features in a smartphone. First, I have to say that before you carry out this procedure, you should know that it carries risks of damaging your phone permanently if not correctly done as per instructions. How to Flash a Stock ROM/Firmware File on Fero A5005 smartphone using SP Flash tool.

For you to flash this phone, you need to have the following requirements:

  • You need to have a computer.
  • Fero A5005 Firmware. It is rare to find one but luckily technology sage got one for you. Download Fero A5005 Stock firmware here.
  • You need to have a USB data cable. Any other cable that is not a data cable will not work.
  • You need some computer skills and smartphone technical know-how.

Carefully follow the following steps as explained below on how to flash a Stock ROM/firmware on Fero A5005:

Step 1

The first thing you need to do is to make sure that you have the stock firmware ready. Download Fero A5005 Stock firmware and extract it to a folder on the desktop or anywhere you can easily find it. We shall be updating the download link for Fero A5005 firmware soon. When you open the extracted firmware, you will see the firmware files and a text file known as a ‘scatter file’. Close the folder and move to step 2.

Step 2

After your firmware is ready, you need a flashing tool. In this case, we shall need a smartphone flashing tool known as SP Flash tool. This tool is easily available online. It is free. Just download it, extract it and run the SP Flash tool application file as Admin.

Sp flash tool should now load up and open.

Step 3

Now, it is time to load your Fero A5005 Firmware. On sp flash tool, at the top right side, click on ‘Scatter-loading.’ This will open up the file system for you to choose your firmware. Navigate to a folder where you saved your Fero A5005 stock firmware. Click and open the folder until you see the scatter file text document you saw first in the firmware. Don’t worry when you don’t see the other files. It is because SP Flash tool only recognises the scatter file which will in turn load other files. Click ‘open’ your firmware files will now get loaded to your SP Flash tool as seen in the screenshot below.

Step 4

Now at this stage, we are on the right stage on How to Flash a Stock ROM/Firmware File on Fero A5005 smartphone. Now, your stock firmware is correctly loaded and you should now start flashing your Fero A5005 smartphone. Click on the download button above in green as shown below:

Now on your Fero A5005 Smartphone, remove and reinsert the battery. Connect the USB data cable to the computer’s USB port. Hold the volume up button and insert the USB data cable to the phone’s USB charging port.

Step 5

Lastly, after the above step, you will see a red line loading, then a purple one and then, the flashing progress will follow almost soon. Wait until the yellow progress line runs slowly until the end. You will see the flashing progress alongside the yellow progress bar in percentage. Wait until the green checkmark appears as the progress hits 100%. See the screenshot below:

Disconnect your phone from the USB data cable, remove and insert the battery back, Power ON your Fero A5005 smartphone by holding the power button. Your phone should boot up. Wait a few moments until it displays restart settings.
