Rooting as I said earlier is getting superuser access to your phones system partition and having the ability to alter your phone’s performance. But these files are so delicate that if altered in an unprofessional way could end up damaging your phone. You shouldn’t try to root your phone if you don’t know what you are doing. The downside is that first, it voids your manufacturer’s warranty. Secondly, if not properly done, it might cause your phone to start misbehaving or it might make it to completely stop functioning. Yes. It might die. We call it bricking. Rooting or not, is a matter of technical know-how and just deciding if you want to do it or not. But it is just a simple thing to do.
