2016 brought lots of tech to us. However, a look at what 2017 has on offer will make 2016 seem like a joke. From Apple to Samsung, Microsoft to Google and Amazon, there is much in store to make our lives fun and worth the money we spend on tech. Let me put you up to speed with what you are likely to stumble upon in your favorite tech shop. Below is a list, not exhaustive though but just a tip of the iceberg. I will be on the lookout for these and much more and as usual, you will get it here fresh and uncut.
SAMSUNG S8
After a disaster in the name of the Note 7, be sure that Samsung is far from giving up. Rumors point to a Galaxy S8 with so many features it will be a must have for tech enthusiasts.
IPHONE 8
Or it is the iPhone X? Apple always remained secretive with its gadgets and while we are not sure what the 10th anniversary iPhone will be called, we are sure that it will be the phone to beat for 2017 and even 2018. On offer are facial recognition and other sleek features.
SMART HOMES
Yes. The ability to tell your fridge to shut off when you are miles away and other tech abilities to control everything in your home with your smartphone are now a reality. At the forefront are firms such as Google, Amazon and Apple. It will only get interesting in this regard.

MICROSOFT
The tech giant is destined to wow the world again with a lot expected from it. It is expected that Microsoft will release the Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Phone which will usher it into the new world with great new features. We are all ears for these ones.

VIRTUAL REALITY
Every other firm has a VR headset out from Samsung to Google and others. We wait to see what these firms will do to push the edge of technology in the virtual reality field. Also, Apple is widely expected to enter the fray with its own take on virtual reality. It will be an interesting space to watch.
